Meet the Partners

Vonda Collins, CPA

Co‑Founder & Partner, Collins Scarborough CPAs, PLLC

Vonda Collins spent more than three decades in senior management roles within a Fortune 200 corporation and a state government entity, leading teams across Accounting & Reporting, Audit, and Legal Operations. Over time, she realized that what she valued most wasn’t the size or complexity of the organizations she served — it was the people behind them. The small business owners working hard to grow with confidence. The nonprofit leaders committed to strengthening their communities. The entrepreneurs who needed clarity, not complexity. That realization inspired her to co‑found Collins Scarborough CPAs, PLLC, where she brings the full weight of her experience to clients who value partnership as much as expertise.

Vonda has a gift for making financial information approachable. She translates complex data into clear, practical guidance and helps organizations strengthen internal controls, streamline operations, and prepare for audits without stress or confusion.

Her entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond the firm. As co‑owner and active manager of a residential property business, Vonda understands firsthand the challenges and opportunities her clients face. She brings that lived experience into every engagement, offering insight that is technically sound and grounded in real‑world decision‑making.

Outside of work, Vonda is happiest creating memories with her husband of 30 years, their adult daughters, and her grandchildren, who lovingly call her “Mimi.” She enjoys crocheting, volunteering at a local pantry, and exploring new hobbies that allow her to unwind, recharge, and stay connected to the people and communities she cares about most.
